Regrettably, there are approximately 130 appointments lost each month, often due to patient's failure to attend.  This equates to more than 10 full surgeries each month.

If you know you are unable to attend, please phone to cancel, as this will free up the appointment for another person to make use of.

When We Are Closedclosed_sign

Between 18:00 and 07:00:00 the following morning, and at weekends, NHS24 is responsible for patient care.

They can be contacted free of charge by dialling 111.

Your initial contact with NHS24 will be with a nurse who will triage your request.  This will then be passed to a doctor who will decide where and when you should be seen, if required.

Between 07:00 and 08:00 (Monday to Friday) in urgent cases,  your call will be passed directly to one of the doctors in the practice, who will similarly triage your request.

After 08:00 and through until 18:00 (Monday to Friday), your call will come through to the practice, and our staff will deal with your call.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
